Keir was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is the ninth child from a proud Polish/Irish family of twelve. Coming from such a large family, Keir often found music to be an escape. He would often sing along with the radio and even to commercial jingles. Keir understands the power that music has over the human emotion. He believes that music has the ability to lift us even higher in times of jubilation or make us reflect deeply in times of sadness and despair. Artists that have had a tremendous influence on Keir include; the incomparable Mariah Carey and Donna Summer, Elton John, Billy Joel, Luther Vandross, Lionel Richie, and the great Josh Groban. Although many of his influences are from what is considered to be popular music, some of his earliest influences were from both jazz and gospel. These artists include; the legendary Louie Armstrong, Mahalia Jackson, and Nina Simone.

Although Keir studied musical theater at Emerson College for two years, he ended his undergraduate career at the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. Keir then completed his graduate studies at American International College with a Master of Public Administration degree. Currently, Keir is a licensed real estate agent in Massachusetts.

In his spare time, Keir enjoys reading, writing, taking long walks, working out, and swimming. Keir loves to learn and is especially interested in languages, as he has studied Latin, Chinese, and Spanish.

Keir’s love for music is an integral part of him that he could never imagine being without. He believes it is the vehicle by which he is able to maintain a sense of wholeness, and without it he feels his life would lack purpose.
